Installation and Liability

LONG RANGE AUTOMOTIVE AND LONG RANGE AMERICA LLC ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE IN ANY WAY FOR INSTALLATION SERVICES, OR FOR ANY DAMAGE, INJURY OR LOSS ARISING FROM THE INSTALLATION, REMOVAL, MODIFICATION OR USE OF OUR PRODUCTS. OUR LIMITED WARRANTY ONLY COVERS MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP OF THE TANK AND FITMENT KIT AND IS LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT. IT DOES NOT COVER LABOR, INSTALLATION, FUEL, TOWING, LOSS OF USE, OR DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE OR OTHER PROPERTY. REFERRAL TO OR INTRODUCTION OF A CANDIDATE SHOP FOR INSTALLATION OR OTHER SERVICES DOES NOT IMPLY OR ENDORSE ANY OBLIGATION OR LIABILITY FOR LONG RANGE AUTOMOTIVE OR LONG RANGE AMERICA LLC. ANY INSTALLER IS AN INDEPENDENT BUSINESS AND IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ITS OWN WORK.

All products should be installed only by a qualified professional, following the supplied instructions and the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications. Improper installation, modification, overfilling or misuse may cause fuel leaks, fire, explosion, property damage, serious injury or death, and voids the Limited Warranty.

Off-Road Use and Legal Compliance

Our products are sold for off-road and competition use only unless a product listing expressly states otherwise. Before you purchase, install or operate a product, you are solely responsible for confirming that the product, and its installation and use on your vehicle, comply with all federal, state and local laws, including emissions, fuel system, inspection and registration requirements. Installing aftermarket fuel system components may affect your vehicle’s factory warranty, emissions compliance, insurance coverage and resale value. Long Range America makes no representation that any product is legal for street use in your jurisdiction.

Fuel and Safety

Fuel is flammable and hazardous. Do not smoke, use open flame or create sparks near fuel or fuel system components. Inspect your tank, fittings, lines, straps and mounting hardware regularly, and stop using the vehicle immediately if you notice a leak, fuel odor, damage or loose hardware. Damage caused by impact, trail or road debris, off-road use, corrosion, contaminated fuel, or failure to maintain the system is your responsibility.

Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability

By purchasing, installing or using our products, you assume all risks associated with their installation and use. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Long Range America LLC, Long Range Automotive and their owners, employees, dealers and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to a product shall not exceed the purchase price paid for that product. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Long Range America LLC from any claims arising from the installation, modification or use of products you purchased.

Shipping and Freight Terms

Our base shipping pricing assumes delivery to a commercially zoned receiver with a loading dock or forklift on site, without scheduled delivery. Our base shipping price (if charged) or “free shipping” offer (if included in the tank price) DOES NOT INCLUDE the following, which result in added charges DUE BY THE PURCHASER OR DEALER:

• Freight terminal storage charges when a shipment is not picked up within 2-3 days of arrival
• Residential delivery
• Lift gate truck
• Call to schedule or remind before delivery
• Return trip or redelivery fee if no one is available to take delivery

You must inspect every shipment before signing for it, note any damage or shortage on the bill of lading, and report it to us with photos within 48 hours of delivery. Delivery dates and lead times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Cancellations, Restocking Fees and Custom Orders

Every cancellation of an order or pre-order, including an order that has already shipped or is in transit, is subject to a 20% cancellation and restocking fee, plus non-refundable shipping and freight charges. Custom-ordered tanks cannot be cancelled, returned or refunded under any circumstances. Deposits identified as non-refundable are retained in full. California Air Resource Board (CARB) Compliance Disclaimer

Our long-range fuel tanks have not undergone testing, certification, or approval by the California Air Resource Board (CARB). As a result, we must adhere to specific restrictions regarding their sale and installation in the state of California. Please be aware of the following:

1. Sales Restriction: Our long-range fuel tanks cannot be sold within the state of California.
2. Installation Prohibition: These fuel tanks cannot be installed on vehicles that are registered in California.
3. Usage Limitation: Vehicles equipped with our long-range fuel tanks are prohibited from driving on California roadways.

Compliance with these regulations is mandatory. By purchasing our long-range fuel tanks, you agree not to use or install them in any manner that violates CARB regulations. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these legal requirements.
